Fabrication of an ��-lipoic acid-eluting poly-(D,L-lactide-co-caprolactone) cuff for the inhibition of neointimal formation

The purpose of this study was to develop a novel polymer cuff for the local delivery of α-lipoic acid (ALA) to inhibit neointimal formation in vivo. The polymer cuff was fabricated by incorporating the ALA into poly-(_D,L-lactide-co-caprolactone) 40:60 (PLC), with or without methoxy polyethylene glycol (MethoxyPEG). The release kinetics of ALA and in vitro degradation by hydrolysis were analyzed by HPLC and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), respectively. In vivo evaluation of the effect of the ALA-containing polymer cuff was carried out using a rat femoral artery cuff injury model. At 24 h, 48% or 87% of the ALA was released from PCL cuffs with or without MethoxyPEG. FE-SEM results indicated that ALA was blended homogenously in the PLC with MethoxyPEG, whereas ALA was distributed on the surface of the PLC cuff without MethoxyPEG. The PLC cuff with MethoxyPEG showed prolonged and controlled release of ALA in PBS, in contrast to the PLC cuff without MethoxyPEG. Both ALA-containing polymer cuffs had a significant effect on the inhibition of neointimal formation in rat femoral artery. Novel ALA-containing polymer cuffs made of PLC were found to be biocompatible and effective in inhibiting neointimal formation in vivo. Polymer cuffs containing MethoxyPEG allowed the release of ALA for one additional week, and the rate of drug release from the PLC could be controlled by changing the composition of the polymer. These findings demonstrate that polymer cuffs may be an easy tool for the evaluation of anti-restenotic agents in animal models.     

Phase composition and phase transformation in Bi(Sb,Nb,Ta)O4 system

In this work Bi(Sb_xNb_yTa_z)O₄ (x + y + z = 1) samples are prepared using mixed-oxide method. A pseudo-ternary phase diagram of Bi(Sb,Nb,Ta)O₄ system is given below the melting point. It is composed of a monoclinic phase region, an orthorhombic phase region and a monoclinic–orthorhombic co-existing phase region. In the orthorhombic phase region, the transformation from orthorhombic to triclinic phase is found to be sensitive to the composition and sintering temperature. Both the transformation from monoclinic to orthorhombic structure and the transformation from orthorhombic to triclinic structure have been studied by the cell parameters.

This paper deals with the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operators from the F（p, q, s） spaces, including Hardy space, Bergman space, Qp space, BMOA space, Besov space and α-Bloch space, to Bers-type spaces Hv^∞（ or little Bers-type spaces Hv,o∞ ）, where v is normal.     

具有Monod-Haldane功能反应和脉冲效应的捕食系统的动力学性质

基于综合害虫防治,对具脉冲效应的Monod—Haldane功能反应的捕食系统进行了分析,根据Floquet乘子理论,获得了害虫灭绝周期解全局渐近稳定与系统持续生存的条件．并讨论了害虫灭绝周期解附近分支出非平凡周期解的问题,且文章利用Matlab软件对害虫灭绝周期解害虫周期爆发现象进行了数值模拟．     

不完备信息下的灰色粗糙集成决策模型侯亚林

In this paper, for multiple attribute decision-making problem in which attribute values are interval grey numbers and some of them are null values, a decision model based on grey rough sets integration with incomplete information is proposed. We put forward incidence degree coefficient formula for grey interval, by information entropy theory and analysis technique, the method and principle is presented to fill up null values. We also establish the method of grey interval incidence cluster. Because grey system theory and Rough set theory are complementary each other, decision table with preference information is obtained by the result of grey incidence cluster. An algorithm for inducing decision rules based on rough set theory and the dominance relationship is presented. In some extent, this algorithm can deal with decision-making problem in which the attribute values are interval grey numbers and some of them are null values. Contrasted with classical model of cluster decision-making, the algorithm has an advantage of flexibility and compatibility to new information.     

多变量整体模式累加多层统计模型的建立及其在组织绩效预测上的应用研究

为了解决多层的少样本或无规则数据的建模问题,在一般多层统计模型的基础上提出了多变量整体模式的累加多层统计模型。此模型把累加方法的优点(将无规则数据转化成有规则数据)与多层统计模型结合起来,拓展了多层统计模型的适用范围。从其在香蕉组织绩效的分析以及在仅有两个调查数据香蕉组织形式绩效的预测中,可以看出此模型有较强的实用性。

Wahl’s conjecture holds in odd characteristics for symplectic and orthogonal Grassmannians

It is shown that the proof by Mehta and Parameswaran of Wahl’s conjecture for Grassmannians in positive odd characteristics also works for symplectic and orthogonal Grassmannians.      

<Emphasis Type="Italic">W</Emphasis><Superscript>1,<Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>(R<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>)-boundedness for maximal functions

In this paper, we get W ^1,p (R ⁿ )-boundedness for tangential maximal function and nontangential maximal function, which improves J.Kinnunen, P.Lindqvist and Tananka’s results.
